First Aid & CPR Training

About the Training

Siskiyou Child Care Council contracts with Darrell Frost at Northern Siskiyou EMS to provide CPR/First Aid Training. Training is held twice a month:

• Weed: Siskiyou Child Care Council Training Center, 154 Boles St. (across the parking lot from our office)
• Yreka: Covenant Chapel, 200 Greenhorn Rd.

Each participant who passes the end-of-course examination will receive an EMSA First Aid/CPR card that is valid for two (2) years from the date of completion. Our course also includes a component and certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.

The classes are required for most child care providers and are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
