First Aid and CPR
Siskiyou Child Care Council contracts with Darrell Frost at Northern Siskiyou EMS to provide CPR/First Aid Training. Training is held twice a month, once in Weed at the Siskiyou Child cCAre Council Training Center: 154 Boles St. (across the parking lot from our office), and once in Yreka, at the Covenant Chapel, 200 Greenhorn Rd. in Yreka.

Each participant who passes the end-of-course examination will receive an EMSA First Aid/CPR card that is valid for two (2) years from the date of completion of the course. Our First Aid/CPR course also includes a component and certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.
The classes are required for most childcare providers and are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
